The Megale Hellas Diving Center offers divers the opportunity to experience the best diving in the province of Reggio Calabria, along Ionian Sea, Tyrrhenian Sea and Strait of Messina.
Thanks to its location in Marina di Gioiosa Jonica – on the Ionian Sea, at the entrance of a highway that leads to the Tyrrhenian Sea – we can reach the dive sites on both sides of Calabria with our minibus. This also allows us to not lose hardly ever diving, choosing the coastline with the best weather and sea conditions.
With our logistical support you can experience various kinds of dives, from historic shipwrecks to cliffs in the blue in which there are colorful caves, but also striking reefs emerging from the blue of the Strait of Messina.
Shipwreck’s lovers have access to some of the most fascinating dives of the Mediterranean Sea: the famous Laura C, the Pasubio with its rudder, the Cosala, the submarine Admiral Millo, the factory ship Rigoletto, the imposing armed cargo Valfiorita, only to name a few. Many of these vessels are intact and, despite the depth that some of them can reach, are often accessible from the shore.
The cliffs and the reefs of the Tyrrhenian “Violet Coast”, that stretches from Bagnara to Scylla, are really exciting, with their dazzling colors and a very rich biodiversity.
