Diving week “Wrecks & Reefs”
This is our diving offer for a new proposal of underwater tourism in Calabria!
The Megale Hellas Diving Center offers itinerant dives in the province of Reggio Calabria, at the southern tip of Italy, along the Ionian Sea, the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Strait of Messina, visiting many fascinating historical shipwrecks of the Second World War, sunk in the southern Ionian, and the colorful walls and reefs of the Strait of Messina and of the Costa Viola (i.e. Violet Coast), as Scylla, considered one of the 10 most beautiful Italian reefs!
Our diving offer is a special holiday, which also satisfies the companions non-divers, who may come with us by our minivan for visiting the places where we’ll dive. And then, in the evening, we will organize some “typical” dinners with traditional Calabrian cuisine, visiting the medieval villages of the hinterland. For lovers of untouched nature and wide landscapes, there’s the possibility to organize guided tours and hiking in the Aspromonte National Park.
PACKAGE LOW SEASON 2025
(March to June and September to December)
Valid with minimum 2 participants
- Transfer to/from the airports of Lamezia Terme or Reggio Calabria.
- 7 nights in a double/twin room in a comforteble position in Marina di Gioiosa, with treatment of Bed & Breakfast.
- 1 dinner in a typical local restaurant with traditional Calabrian cuisine.
- 10 dives (with tanks and weights rental, transfer by van) on wrecks, reefs and walls of the province of Reggio Calabria.
- 1 guided tour in a medieval village or in archaeological site or along a naturalistic path.
- Diving Services: use of the basin for washing equipment; deposit of equipments in personal baskets. Possibility of night diving and, on request (additional cost), nitrox refilling and support for technical dives.
